To encourage the buy-in on the immediate and wider Fitties communities, come and join us to launch the ‘New’ Notice Board. Now that we have the new licence, and carried out a spruce up would like to present this to the community, as well as encourage people to step forward to help with its management and upkeep.

Humberston Fitties – Asset of Community Value Redesignation.

After a 6 month campaign, and ably assisted by a small team of Fitties chalet owners and other enthusiasts, the Fitties CIC managed to head up the process of getting the Humberston Fitties re-designated as an Asset of Community Value.

NB :- Prior to this, the Fitties CIC successfully applied for the Fitties AVC designation in 2019, and this was granted in November of that year. ACV designations last 5 years, so the Fitties CIC began the redesignation process in August 2024 which commenced with a face-to-face meeting with a representative of NELC’s Assets Team, who we worked closely with enabling the Fitties to be redesignated on 17th December 2024. However, this was not truly formalised until it finally appeared in the public realm (on NELC online ACV register) in Feb 2025 !

Humberston Fitties Community Notice Board – Commercial Licence

The Fitties CIC applied and successfully obtained a Commercial Licence from Tingdene Holiday Parks Ltd to enable the Notice Board to remain in is current location. 

November 2019

What ? 
Humberston Fitties – Asset of Community Value Designation.

The Fitties CIC applied and successfully obtained Asset of Community Value Designation for the Humberston Fitties from NELC.

October 2018

What ? 
Humberston Fitties Community Notice Board – Planning Permission.

The Fitties CIC applied for and obtained Planning Permission for the Fitties Community Notice Board, in its current position next to the ‘phone box. Permission was granted 29th October 2018 – see NELC planning ref DM/0568/18.
