The Fitties C.I.C. was set up in 2016 by chalet owners to represent the community of Humberston Fitties Chalet Park.
Our community needed a response to the council’s decision to sell off the site.
Through forming the Community Interest Company, appointing Directors and creating a Steering Group of volunteers we have submitted a community bid to the local council to take over the management and running of the site.
Bob Reynolds, Glen Sibbick and Andrew Senior have inspired chalet owners to take ownership of their future by holding meetings at which they have shared their plan and have asking stakeholders what their vision of the future of The Fitties would be.
A Steering Group was formed to help set up the company and to work towards putting our bid together.
Our aims are to seek the views of residents, chalet owners and visitors to the site and find out what makes this place so special and how we can preserve, as well as improve, what it has to offer.
